BYW, the Forum Post Assistant is similar in a way to information that I had hoped for at one stage but was never able to find. It's one thing to have the correct PHP and MySQL database etc, but there can still be a few php services that need to be installed that fall outside of the Joomla installation checklist.
A definitive list of what you need to have installed on a web server for those who have control over such things (WHM/cPanel for me) would be super handy.
