Administration Joomla! 5.x • Inconsistent behaviour with Intro Text, is it Joomla or my Template?

Hello all,

First, thank you in advance for your help.

I'm having an issue with the intro text on a new Joomla 5 installation. In the past, if I set the intro text to 'hide' in the article global admin settings and then made an category blog menu item, the intro text would show up in the category blog article listings, but NOT in the actual article itself.

This is the behaviour I expect and want.

However, in this new install, when I choose 'hide' for the intro text in either the global article settings or the individual menu item settings, the intro text disappears from the category blog page. This is not intended.

I want the intro text to be visible on the category blog listing but not in the article itself.

Would this be something that has changed in the current version of Joomla or could this possibly be caused by the template I'm using? (JoomlArt Educatsy).

I thought I would ask the community here first to verify that nothing has changed with regards to how J5 manages the intro-text before hitting up the template folks.

Any thoughts most greatly appreciated.
